Our most common types of commercial roofing materials include:
Our elastomeric products and component systems provide seamless, waterproof and weathertight barriers, as well as providing high solar reflectivity and dissipation of heat, all while reducing UV light degradation. Our roofing systems can add advantages to virtually any substrate and lead to maintenance and energy cost reductions.
White TPO Roofs:
TPO (thermoplastic) roof systems are a quickly growing trend in commercial roofing, comprised of a single-ply membrane made from ethylene propylene rubber. TPO roofs provide the durability of rubber with the performance of hot-air weldable seams (which is why they are sometimes advertised as a "seamless" roof).
Metal roofing is also an emerging commercial roofing material. Common materials include aluminum, copper and steel. These provide high durability, fire resistance, great aesthetic appeal and a lightweight finish to your structure. In addition, metal roofing is easy and quick to install.
EPDM (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer) roofs are a common choice for commercial projects due to their superior durability and versatility. EPDM is an exceptionally durable synthetic rubber membrane possessing the waterproof qualities required for a roofing material.
Hot Tar Roofs:
Hot tar roofs are a time-tested building material, commonly used throughout the U.S. on commercial buildings for nearly 100 years. This multiple-ply roof system is comprised of multiple layers of fiberglass-based asphalt and reinforcing plies to create waterproof layers.
Torch Down Roofs:
Similar to hot tar roofing, a torch down roof is comprised of layers of tar and reinforcing plies. The name "torch down" comes from the method of application in which the sheets are torched down in overlap areas during installation to join seams together to create a large rubber, waterproof, sheet on a fiberglass base.

Concrete Work and Repairs
Commercial concrete can be broadly defined as concrete used to build or enhance business facilities, such as industrial buildings, warehouses, retail stores and even restaurants. Concrete has always been the preeminent material to use for various construction projects. Properly poured concrete does do marvels, but it requires an in-depth knowledge and experienced professionals to do the job right. Here at CT Commercial Services, we take pride in the flawless commercial concrete work we offer.
Commercial Gutter Installation
Gutters are designed to direct water away from a building so that it does not damage the siding or foundation. When gutters become dented, rusted, sagging or clogged, they cannot function properly. This can cause serious damage to a building's exterior, foundation, basement or landscaping. If your business has gutters that are damaged and not directing water properly, now is the time to replace them. Taking action now can protect your commercial building from expensive damage that could affect your bottom line.
The Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) was created in 1998 to develop accurate and credible methods for evaluating and labeling the solar reflectance and thermal emittance (radiative properties) of roofing products.
Inspired by the successful use of ceramic materials in the NASA space program to reflect, refract and dissipate heat during vehicle re-entry, a step forward was taken to apply that same durable, protective and energy-efficient principles to a coating that could be used in roofing, wall and industrial applications.
